Welcome to Deen Islam.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Deen Islam website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using Deen Islam (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules posted on the Platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, mosque representatives, imams, scholars, students, and donors (collectively, "Users" or "you").

- Be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements.
3 User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at info@deen-islam.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.2 Account Types
- Student — Access to courses, daily learning, and community features.
- Imam / Scholar — Publish courses, manage mosque affiliations, and receive earnings. Requires KYC verification.

3.3 KYC Verification
Imams, scholars, and mosque representatives must complete KYC verification by submitting valid identification and credentials. Verified accounts display a verification badge. Falsified documents will result in immediate termination and possible legal action.
Important: You may not impersonate another person, use a false identity, or create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
4 Code of Conduct
As an Islamic platform, we expect all Users to uphold the highest standards of Islamic etiquette (adab) and mutual respect. You agree not to:
- Post hateful, sectarian, racist, or violent content.
- Harass, threaten, or defame other Users.
- Spread misinformation, false teachings, or content that misrepresents Islam.
- Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, servers, or databases.
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, illegal, or money-laundering activities.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without permission.
- Post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or misleading offers.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's normal operation.
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
5 User Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain full ownership of any content you post — including profiles, course materials, mosque details, reviews, images, and messages ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Deen Islam a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
5.2 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights to any content you upload.
5.3 Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law. Report inappropriate content using the "Report" button on any page.
Tip: Accurate profiles, verified credentials, and honest reviews help build trust in the Muslim community.
6 Mosque Listings
6.1 Representative Responsibility
Representatives registering a mosque confirm they are authorized by that mosque. All submitted details (address, prayer times, contact info, donation details) must be accurate and updated promptly.
6.2 Admin Review
Every mosque listing is manually reviewed before publication. We may request additional documents or reject listings that appear fraudulent or incomplete.
6.3 Removal
We reserve the right to remove any mosque listing that violates these Terms, receives multiple verified reports, or is found to be fraudulent.
7 Imams & Scholars
7.1 Verification
Imams and scholars must provide valid credentials (ijazah, certificates, or institutional recommendations). We verify these documents manually.
7.2 Course Publishing
Imams and scholars are solely responsible for the Islamic content, accuracy, and quality of courses they publish. Courses must align with mainstream Islamic teachings and respect scholarly differences.
7.3 Earnings & Payouts
Instructors set their own course prices (or offer courses for free). The Platform retains a service fee to cover hosting, payment processing, and support. Earnings can be withdrawn once the minimum threshold is reached.
8 Donations
Important: Deen Islam does not process or hold donations. All donations go directly from the donor to the mosque using the bank/payment details displayed on the mosque's page.
8.1 Verification
Mosques that enable donations must submit bank/payment details, which our team verifies privately. A "Donate Now" button appears publicly only after admin approval.
8.2 Donor Responsibility
Donors are responsible for confirming mosque details before donating and for obtaining receipts directly from the mosque. We recommend contacting the mosque directly to verify receipt.
8.3 Fraud
Any suspected donation fraud should be reported immediately via our Contact page. Confirmed fraud results in immediate account termination, and we may report the matter to relevant authorities.
9 Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including the logo, name, design, code, features, and original text, is owned by Deen Islam and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
The names, logos, and materials of mosques, imams, and scholars remain the property of their respective owners.
10 Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- KYC documents are stored securely, encrypted, and accessible only to authorized admin staff.
- Government ID numbers and bank details are never shown publicly.
- Public profile information (name, bio, city) may be visible to other users.
- We never sell your personal data to third parties.
- You can request data deletion at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).
11 Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Mawaqit, payment processors, Google Maps, email providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those services.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
12 Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, error-free, or secure.

13 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deen Islam, its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
- Any content posted by Users (including inaccurate information).
- Any donations made through or facilitated by the Platform.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Any third-party service used through the Platform.

- Violate these Terms or our Code of Conduct.
- Post fraudulent, illegal, or harmful content.
- Impersonate another person or misuse another user's account.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
You may also delete your own account at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, but sections of these Terms that by nature should survive (e.g., Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability) will remain in effect.
15 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or security practices. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Send an email notification to registered users.
- Display a notice on the Platform for 14 days.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Deen Islam is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in our registered jurisdiction.
Users in the European Union or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws retain all rights granted by those laws.
