About the Mosque

In the heart of Makkah, the Grand Mosque stands as the holiest place on earth, with the Ka’bah at its centre, the Qibla of the Muslims and the first house (of worship) built for humanity. Here, prayers are multiplied to a hundred thousand times, and the rituals of Hajj and Umrah begin. It is also where Muslims gather from every corner of the earth, all equal in front of the greatness of their Creator, seeking His obedience and His pleasure.
